Personal Statement

I am a dedicated researcher, Medical Microbiologist, and Medical Laboratory Scientist with over a decade of stellar experience in teaching, research, publishing scientific papers, and contributing voluntarily to my community and society at large.

My work focuses on novel discoveries in areas such as antimicrobial resistance, infection surveillance and control, microbial pathogenesis, anaerobic bacteriology, nosocomial infections, entomology, molecular epidemiology, and drug discovery.

I am deeply committed to advancing scientific knowledge in microbiology and its relationship with human health, while also mentoring students to reach their fullest potential within academic settings and preparing them for impactful careers beyond graduation.
