Personal Statement
I am an associate professor at the University of Lagos and an accomplished conservation biologist specializing in species conservation and ecosystem health. With a Ph.D. in fisheries management and expertise in endangered species Management, I am interested in studying the effects of pollutants on aquatic and terrestrial life, particularly vulnerable species such as turtles and pangolins. My work focuses on the UN Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), 14 (Life below Water), and 15 (Life on Land). I possess extensive expertise in wetland management, aquatic toxicology, wetland rehabilitation, and ecosystem restoration.
