- Personal Statement
As a dedicated fisheries scientist, my research spans over two decades of contributions to aquatic ecology, fish biology, and sustainable fisheries in Nigeria. I have authored over 45 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings, focusing on species diversity, ecological adaptations, and the impacts of pollution on aquatic life. My work on the grey mullet and bonga, among others, has informed management practices and advanced aquaculture techniques. With a strong academic foundation from B.Sc. to Ph.D., I remain committed to innovative, evidence-based research that supports conservation, food security, and environmental sustainability in coastal and inland waters.
