Personal Statement
I am a research enthusiast and a motivated Chemist with core interest in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, natural products and biology Chemistry. As an early career researcher, I have acquired some experience in natural product Chemistry. I recently completed my doctoral training at Universite Grenoble Alpes, France in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. My expertise includes asymmetric synthesis, purification, characterization of both racemic and enantiopure sulphur-containing compounds, which can be applied to the total synthesis of bioactive compounds using state of the art equipment. I am into continuous research in this field to discover various chiral and non-chiral compounds with potential biological activities. My expertise is also extended to molecular docking studies, multidisciplinary research where I collaborate with other researchers globally to add value to the world of knowledge. With excellent communication and listening skills and ability to work in teams with great sense of humour, I am open to collaborative research and mentorship. Reach out to me via email and let us work together.
