  1. Personal Statement

As a dedicated lecturer and researcher in Marine Fisheries, I am passionate about advancing our understanding of marine ecosystems, with a particular focus on shellfish biology and ecology. My teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, encouraging students to explore the complexities of marine ecosystems and develop practical skills in shellfish biology.

Through research, I aim to contribute to the sustainable management of shellfish resources, exploring topics such as population dynamics, habitat health, and ecological interactions. By integrating research and teaching, I strive to inspire students to become informed stewards of marine resources.

In my teaching, I cover topics such as shellfish biology, marine ecology, and fisheries management, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the field. I am committed to mentoring students, guiding them in research projects, and fostering their growth as future professionals in fisheries and marine science. My goal is to translate research into food security, job creation, economic and sustainable development through collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches and awareness of the blue economy.
