  1. Personal Statement

I have over two decades of experience in teaching and research in geology, specializing in hydrogeology and engineering geology. My work includes aquifer characterization, groundwater studies, and assessing landfill sites and foundation soils.

I investigate the interactions between groundwater systems and urban infrastructure, focusing on issues relevant to coastal cities like Lagos. My research encompasses mapping saltwater-freshwater interfaces, evaluating groundwater potential and quality, and addressing geological hazards.

I aim to develop sustainable solutions that enhance community livelihoods, promote environmental sustainability, and support resilient urban development. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in Lagos and similar urban areas.
