  1. Personal Statement

I am an Associate Professor focused on combining sensor technologies and artificial intelligence in developing innovative products that solves economic needs. My work covers conceptualizing, developing proof-of-concept, prototyping, patenting and commercialization of the research products. Then the products are transformed from laboratory experimental stage to real-world applications after field tests, validation and refinements in the most effective, efficient, and environmentally safe manner. With a strong commitment to miniaturizing electronic devices deploying nanotechnology, optimizing electric power consumption, enhancing capacity and complexity through automation in technology, and promoting clean energy and circular economy principles, I constantly seek to proffer solution to economic challenges with high impact. My research output targets—empowering youths, young scientists and local communities through innovation and advocacy. At the Physics laboratory, my ultimate goal is to translate research into scalable products and training models that address global challenges in critical areas particularly in science and technology, security, unemployment, and climate change issues. My plan is to continue to foster sustainable development through collaborative, interdisciplinary and multi-institutional approaches.
