 Personal Statement

   I’m a Nigeria botanist interested in assessing plant diversity patterns at local and regional scales. A large part of my research is also focused on taxonomy, ecology and conservation of orchids.

Due to the ongoing biodiversity loss crisis exacerbated by climate change, my study spans a wide range of topics, including ethnobotany, Systematics and conservation of plants, where my goal is focus on identify and conserve a wide range of endangered vascular flora through advocacy and utilization of biotechnological innovations.
