My research focuses on combating multidrug-resistant bacteria by investigating the genetic basis of their resistance to antibiotics and exploring mitigation strategies from clinical settings and One health perspectives. Additionally, I conduct bioprospecting to identify promising lead compounds for the development of novel antimicrobial agents against infectious bacteria.
