My research focuses on understanding the genetic and genomic basis of complex diseases in human and animals. I am driven to uncover the underlying genetic and genomic mechanisms that contribute to these conditions. Through my research, I aim to identify novel genetic markers, develop diagnostic tools, inform personalized treatment strategies, and improved performances among Africa indigenous poultry. As an educator, I am committed to mentoring and training the next generation of geneticists and genomics researchers. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and scientific inquiry.
