My work lies at the intersection of molecular parasitology and computational biology, with a commitment to developing data-driven strategies for managing parasitic infections of medical and veterinary importance.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Currently, my research centers on the molecular epidemiology of <em><i>Eimeria<\/i><\/em>\u00a0species, the causative agents of coccidiosis in poultry. This economically significant disease poses a major challenge to global food security and animal welfare. Through the integration of molecular tools and bioinformatic analyses, I aim to better understand the genetic diversity, transmission dynamics, host-parasite interactions and drug resistance mechanisms of <em><i>Eimeria<\/i><\/em>\u00a0parasites, with the goal of informing more effective control measures in poultry production systems.
